MGCCC Apprentice Lineman, Sandhill Office

This position has the following requirements:

*Must live in or relocate to the Greene County Service Area


Skills and/or experience required:

Must be a graduate of the MGCCC Apprentice Lineman program or another comparable apprentice program.

Commercial driver's license is required.


Description Summary:

Maintains and operates assigned vehicles and equipment in a safe manner.

Sets up truck and equipment at job site.

Frames and erects common distribution structures under the supervision of Journeyman Lineman and Construction Foreman.

Makes connections of meter loops, transformers, and other equipment on de-energized poles.

Strings and ties in conductor on de-energized poles.

Loads poles, transformers and stocks truck and required equipment for daily work.
