Lineman, Lucedale

This position has the following requirements:

*Must live in or relocate to the Lucedale Service Area

Skills and/or experience required:

Must be a graduate of the MGCCC Apprentice Lineman program or another comparable apprentice program.

Commercial driver's license is required.

Description Summary:

Performs work on the construction, maintenance, and retirement of electrical power lines under the direction of the Construction Foreman and/or Journeyman Lineman.

Operates and maintains common assigned vehicles while working on energized primary lines under proper supervision.

Connects three-phase banks and identifies what voltage to expect from each three-phase connections.

Demonstrates an advance working knowledge of all standard framing techniques.

Interprets staking sheet and associated material sheets.

Performs all work in a safe manner and understands all aspects of safety manual as directed.
