Fiber Support Representative, Lucedale Office

POSITION SUMMARY: Provides efficient, courteous, and professional support to Singing River Connects customers and contractors through all means of communication.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a High School diploma or its equivalent.
• Must possess at least one year of high-volume cash handling experience within the last five years.
• Must demonstrate a working knowledge of Singing River Connect and its operational procedures.
• Must display excellent communication skills and be able to work with people in a courteous and effective manner in person, by telephone, via email and other electronic communication.
• Must demonstrate excelled problem solving and comprehension skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists subscribers as needed in a professional and courteous manner via email, mail, SmartHub app or phone with any concerns related to internet accounts, account payments and general service-related tasks.
• Maintains the knowledge required to address escalated or Tier 2 technical support calls.
• Must demonstrate the knowledge needed in order to determine if issues need to be referred to operations or contractors, create and schedules trouble tickets to be dispatched.
• Maintains and demonstrates a working knowledge in all operating system platforms in order to achieve quality business objectives and deliver excellent customer service. (this includes NISC, Calix, SMX and Logicom)
• Must maintain the procedural knowledge necessary to perform cashiering duties, as directed.
• Must be able to fully support Singing River Electric and Singing River Connect field personnel and contractors regarding issues that may arise with new and/or existing fiber service orders.
• Uses ticketing system to document/resolve customer issues. (iView Connect and Logicom dashboard.)
